This policy covers the Sites By Andrew gear pages (/gear/ and the channel pages linked from it), plus /about/, /contact/ and /disclosure/.

What we collect

No accounts or forms. You can't sign up here, and there are no forms to fill in.
Google Analytics. These pages use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure traffic: for example how many people visit, which pages they view, and whether they arrived from YouTube, Facebook or Pinterest. Google receives your IP address and browser details to provide this service; we see only aggregated reports, and we don't use them to identify you. We don't run ad trackers. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
Server logs. Like most websites, our web server may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.
Email. If you email us, we'll use your address and message only to reply.

Amazon. Product links go to Amazon.com with our Associates tag. When you visit Amazon, Amazon may set its own cookies, including to attribute purchases to our affiliate account. Amazon's privacy notice applies there.
YouTube and Facebook. Links to our channels and pages take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies and cookies. Video thumbnails on our channel pages are loaded from YouTube's image servers (i.ytimg.com), which can see your IP address when the images load.

These pages are not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
